qView is an image-viewing app designed to be lightweight, with a minimalistic interface that eliminates unnecessary toolbars and distractions. Despite its small file size, it offers a full range of features, making it a powerful tool for managing and viewing images.
Compatible with multiple image formats
qView supports a wide variety of image formats, including BMP, GIF, JPG, PNG, RAW, ARW, CR2, CR3, TIFF, and WebP. Thanks to this, you won't have to convert images to a different format in order to view them with qView. In addition, qView supports animated images, such as GIFs, and even lets you control their playback directly from the app, something that other apps don't do.
Focused on performance
qView is designed to open as fast as possible, and it definitely opens faster than other programs. Simply select it as the default program for opening images, then double-click on any image to open the program almost immediately. Switching from one image to another is also very fast, ensuring a seamless viewing experience. That said, when working with RAW images, the performance is slower.
Other features
qView also includes other features, such as recent file history, image rotation, and image flipping, as well as support for multithreaded processors, so you can make the most of your hardware and get the best possible performance. You can also adjust the zoom, change the interface's background color, and customize the keyboard shortcuts according to your preferences.
